question about oil in a g5?? motor. I have a 97 husky 50 that i recently purchased for $50 and rebuilt it from the boxes the bike came in. It runs great...but now I am trying to rebuild the carb due to a leak and would like to change/update the motor with better parts like reeds, piston, upper bearings and of course change the oil. While in wait for the parts to get here I need to know the correct weight and capacity oil for the motor. can anyone help me?

I have a Manual at home and I'll get that info to you tonight. It's not much but you pretty much have to change the gear oil after every 1 or 2 rides. I have a 2001 Husky Boy for my son and it's a ripper.

I bought my son a 2001 husqvarna husky boy which I believe has the S6 motor and my problem with it is the clutch. The motor itself straight out RIPS, but the clutch keeps coming loose and breaks the side cover- I'm at a loss I don't know what to do. I have tried locktite- how do I keep this clutch tight on the crank? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

I'm also having problems with the clutch nut coming loose! Does it have anything to do with the size and type of washer behind and in front of the clutch drum?
