I have recently purchased a 2006 conti rx 50 sr that was still brand new. Never had the shipping plug pulled or even a single drop of gas in it. My son has been on a pw 50 and has been doing very well in some races, it died and he is now on a pw 80, he has just turned 7. got the conti for a good price and he was always inpressed wit other kids on KTM and cobras. Thing is this bike is one mean, fast bike. he has been on it a couple of times and the last time it got away from him, but the low end tourque makes it hard for him to maintain throtle control. I have changed the rear sprocket from a 45 to a 41 tooth to try to slow it up on take off but the way the clutch hits is where i need to make changes. I understand that it is possible to remove the concaved washers out of the clutch but how and what tools are needed to get the darn thing off. does it take an a/c clutch removal tool or what. Any one that can help shed some light on this would make a very determained and dedicated young upcoming champion happy.
