Hi when I when I rev my boys husky the clutch does not engage. I removed clutch cover and found everything to be fine. I then turned the clutch by hand and found this really easy. Does this mean there is low compression due to piston and rings. Any light shed on this would be great

hello
to engage good/hard, the clutch needs rpm's ..... lol. so it sounds like there are not enough rpm or "power". Check the ingnition, controll the piston/pistonrings (measure) or maybe the carb is dirty inside...
When you say that the clutch is fine..... are the clutch-shoes ok (covering enaugh) ther should be 1-2 mm in minimum...
if less then 1-2mm you better go to change the clutch-shoes..

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. What I meant is that I could turn the clutch with my fingers which led me to take the head off. In doing so I found that the rings had worn and broke and there was damage to the piston. I belive this then gave me no compression which would not turn the clutch wheel quick enough. I am looking for somewhere to purchase a new piston for the s6s but I am having no luck. Any ideas where to get one. Thanks again
