Hello!
I have exactly the same problem. My son has a Rieju MX50 with a Morini S5 engine. I have cleaned the carburator and havn´t found any leakage. But it is impossible to get an idlespeed only full throttle works fine. I got recommendations from an engine workshop to change the Engine Seal Kit between the crankcase and the ignitionplate. They meant that if there is a leakage here there will not be enough airflow through the carburator at low enginespeed. I haven´t tried this yet, but I am very thrilled if this could work. If anyone have more recommendations regarding this problem I´m very happy. I will also change the piston and piston rings to see if there could be any positive reaction if the problem is bad compression ratio.
Best Regards
Henrik

the std carb on a GS model has a breather hole behind the first seal. It is hard to see but it it in the groove at the clamp screw. I found this the hard way as I was cleaning and saw this gunk or sealant around the clamp area. Thinking I was doing something good I removed it. Never ran until I put some new sealant on the casing at the hole. Let is cure, mounted it back up and presto. Must have been a version or model difference that is not needed for the S5-GS. I had to play with the idle screw and the air/mix high idle screw to get it but normal settings will get it close enough to start. Another thing is pull the hose off carb. the floats take a long time to fill and vent so I pull off gasline, let run full flow, pinch it off and put it back on. Once I do this it fires right away. Best of luck - hope it is the same issue I found.
