New member, and just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Jeff from So. Cal. USA. The reason for joining this forum is to find out information on what I believe is the Franco Morini M65C competition motor. I have a 2002 GasGas 50SM Rookie. So far I can not find anyone that knows about the motor that GasGas used in this bike. It is also very similar to the motor that GasGas used in their 70cc Trials bike. The TXT70 Rookie. The SuperMotard bike has a alloy cylinder, but, the trials bikes use a iron cylinder. One is 49cc and the other is 72cc. The case bottom ends look the same. with the exception of the 50SM having an oil injection system and the TXT being pre-mix. If indeed the GasGas used the Morini M65C motor. I would like to find out if there is an aftermarket 70cc - 80cc alloy kit for these motors. & Where I could purchase one. My next thought would be an Expansion chamber. As I suspect the stock 50cc pipe would not work the best on a 70-80cc top end. I can post pictures or links to pictures of the GasGas motors if you think that might make identification easier. Thank you for your thoughts. Jeff
